1. PREPARE YOUR CALLS.?Be sure you have a list of fresh names. If you carry names over from one day to the next, put them on a fresh sheet (if you work off the same sheet, you will re-live the prior day’s rejections … before you know it, you’ll think there’s a boogie man under the bed).?

2. SELL YOURSELF, WITH PROOF, BEFORE CALLING.?Look at client reports. Pick out clients in the same, or similar industry so that you can refer to them when talking to a new prospect.

3. PREPARE ENOUGH THAT THE CALL FEELS LIKE A REFERRAL.?Research (the night before) can help you gain confidence so that the call feels warm to you. That confidence will be heard across the phone, and your expectation level will increase.
